New Aston Martin Vantage Roadster. Open-top pleasure

Aston Martin is proud to introduce the all-new Vantage Roadster, the convertible that complements the renowned Vantage Coupe. Launched in 2024, the new Vantage redefined luxury and dynamic performance for the brand, surpassing the capabilities of any previous Vantage. Now, the Vantage Roadster elevates the open-air driving experience even further.

Exceptional performance and limitless freedom

Powered by a 4.0-liter Aston Martin V8 Twin-Turbo engine delivering 665 hp and 800 Nm, the Vantage Roadster offers the performance and sensations of the coupe, with the addition of a convertible experience that intensifies the connection to the road. Designed to maintain the style and adventure characteristic of convertibles, the Roadster achieves this without the usual limitations. Its automatic soft top, the fastest on the market, and slight weight gain make it a worthy member of the Vantage family.

With a tradition dating back to the 1950 Vantage, this model also celebrates 20 years of the iconic 2005 V8 Vantage. Adrian Hallmark, CEO of Aston Martin, noted that the Vantage Roadster redefines the concept of a class-leading sports car, offering unparalleled refinement and performance.

Precision engineering

Parallel development of the Vantage Coupe and Roadster ensured that the convertible’s performance was not compromised. With larger turbochargers, revised camshafts and an optimized compression ratio, the engine delivers outstanding performance: it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds and reaches a top speed of 325 km/h (325 mph). Its front-engine, rear-wheel-drive configuration offers a classic and thrilling experience, amplified by the unmistakable roar of its V8.

The Roadster features an ultra-rigid, lightweight aluminum structure, composite body panels and a 49:51 weight distribution. Its suspension includes double unequal front axle triangles, a multi-link rear axle and Bilstein DTX adaptive dampers. Carbon ceramic brake discs and Michelin Pilot Sport S 5 tires, developed specifically for this model, ensure exceptional grip and precise control.

Its electronic architecture, supported by six-axis sensors and the Advanced Traction Control system, enables optimal handling in all conditions. Drivers can adjust traction control on eight levels, with the option to deactivate it for a purer track experience.

Structural design innovations

The Vantage Roadster prioritizes lightness and structural rigidity. Thanks to a roof that folds in a “Z” shape, the weight increase over the Coupe is only 60 kg, a remarkable achievement in its class. This design eliminates the need for a tonneau cover, reducing the center of gravity and allowing the soft top to be opened or closed in just 6.8 seconds, even when moving at speeds of up to 50 km/h (30 mph). With eight levels of insulation, the cabin offers refinement comparable to that of the Coupé.

The roll-over structure, manufactured using the “Castrusion” process, combines strength and lightness, while the suspension system has been recalibrated to maintain the Vantage’s agile and sporty character.

Design and personalization

The Vantage Roadster’s design maintains the striking lines of the Coupe, with proportions that enhance its elegance and dynamism with both the hood open and closed. Its athletic profile includes a larger grille that improves airflow to the engine and new colors such as Iridescent Sapphire and Bronze Flare, plus Black, Red, Blue and Black and Silver roof options.

Through the Q by Aston Martin service, customers can personalize their Roadster, from distinctive details to fully bespoke components, making each vehicle unique.

Cutting-edge technology

The Vantage Roadster features Aston Martin’s next-generation infotainment system. Featuring a 10.25-inch Pure Black touchscreen combined with intuitive physical controls, the system balances advanced technology and ease of use. In addition, a new connectivity app allows interaction with the vehicle from iOS and Android devices.

The standard 390w, 11-speaker Aston Martin audio system offers an immersive sound experience, with the option of a Bowers & Wilkins system for the more audiophile. Designed specifically for the Vantage Roadster, this system combines cutting-edge technology with unparalleled sound quality.

A bright future

The Vantage Roadster will be available from the second quarter of 2025, joining the Vantage Coupe, DB12 and other iconic models of the brand. This launch consolidates Aston Martin as a benchmark in design, performance and luxury in its 112-year history.
